Coastal Air operates as a small entrepreneurial business. Ensuring that when you book with us, you will get nothing short of a one-on-one experience. Being able to talk first hand with our pilots, having specific-to-you drop off and pick up locations & times, allows us to guarantee that we will get you where you want to go, when you want to go.
Coastal Fuels
Coastal Fuels was established in 2021 & has a 24/7 self-service fueling station and an appointment only full service trucks. The self-serve was created due to the growing need for a 24/7 fuel outlet on the King Salmon Airport. The full service fuel trucks were established in 2022 due to the influx of corporate & military jets needing servicing. As of 2023, Coastal Fuels offers Avgas (100LL) & Jet-A from it's self-service station and Jet-A from it's full service trucks.

Pat Shryock
Owner / Chief Pilot
Pat has been flying the Alaska Peninsula for over 30 years. He started flying commercially in 1987, flying in places such as Maine, New York City, and Costa Rica. Eventually finding himself back up in the bush of Alaska. After noticing such a demand for transportation between villages, Coastal Air was established and became Pat’s next endeavor.
Jenny Shryock
Owner / Operations Manager
Shortly after the establishment of Coastal Air in King Salmon, Jenny joined the team. Jenny has her Masters in Aviation and Aerospace Management and holds a Pilots License. Jenny has extensive experience throughout the Bristol Bay Region due to growing up in King Salmon. As the Operations Manager, Jenny ensures that every individual that does business with Coastal has a personal and notable experience. Jenny will go out of her way to explain various aspects of flight itineraries, mail / freight transport, resources throughout villages, and much more.
